  • it’s okay to give someone medication that might shorten their life if it relieves their pain and helps them feel dignified. “… it is licit to relieve pain by narcotics, even when the result is decreased consciousness and a shortening of life..
  • euthanasia goes against the Bible and God’s plan for us. It is murder. “grave violation of the law of God” “unacceptable killing of a human person”

A
  • people can live fruitful and valuable lives even if they have some disability or if they experience pain. life valuable no matter what. eg paralympics
  • incurable diseases often accepted as reason for euthanasia but what about the paralysed? who decides when no longer worth living? legal suicide?
  • will there be lines made? safeguards?
