-Allied weaponry performed well, eg British Challenger 2 tanks made rapid progress and offered excellent protection for crews.
-Use of radio communication to facilitate Combined Arms Tactics, using all sectors in the military together in order to attack, could bombard using aircraft, then consolidate land gained with infantry and tanks
-‘Shock and awe’ tactics using, meaning they used overwhelming firepower to dominate and make rapid progress against Iraqi military: extensive surveillance (UVAs and drones), air strikes against Iraqi military outposts (armed drones)
