What is the Iran Nuclear Deal?
The Iran Nuclear Deal was a deal made in 2015, a 109 page document with 5 important sections. The overall deal is meant to provide severe limitation for iran’s nuclear development for the decade after 2015 in return for a lifting of sanctions by the U.S, EU, and UN.
What are the main limitations on Iran’s nucelear weapon development?
Iran will have to cut back its Uranium stockpile by 97%, limit its Uranium enrichment to a mere 3% (far below what is necessary to begin producing a nuclear weapon), cut back its centrifuge production by a full 2/3rds, and allow inspections by UN agencies to make sure it is complying.
