- Bronchodilator as well (except achieves this in the opposite way to Salbutamol)
- Anticholinergic inhibitor / Muscarinic antagonist (blocks vagal nerve which mediates bronchoconstriction)

Ipratropium Bromide Uses (2 -CS)
A
- COPD Exacerbation
- Severe respiratory distress (associated with bronchospasm)

Ipratropium Bromide Contraindications (1)
A
Hypersensitivity to Atropine because they are both muscarinic antagonists!!

Ipratropium Bromide Precautions (2 - eye stuff)
A
- Glaucoma
- Avoid contact with eyes

Ipratropium Bromide Side Effects (7 - HNDR, TPA)
(way more than Salbutamol, which only has 2)

Main ones:
1. Headache
2. Nausea
3. Dry mouth
4. Rash
Rare:
1. Tachycardia
2. Palpitations
3. Acute angle glaucoma
