A systematic study of all things by way of their causes… in philosophy we look for the ultimate cause.

Philosophy can also be seen as the knowledge of all things through their ultimate causes, acquired through the use of reason

Why is it important to learn Philosophical Anthropology
When you do the question of ethics it is always dependent on your metaphysics and on your anthropology. This is because you cant know what’s good for man unless you know what man is.

It basically covers the past and present of humans.

What are the 3 principles
- Principle of non contradiction - Something cannot be and not be in the same manner, respect and time.
- Principle of excluded middle ground - there is no middle ground between being and non being. There is no middle ground between being a human person and not being a human person.
- Principle of identity- something is what it is. e.g A human being is a human being.
