what are the four types of basic tissue? and which is most common?
Epithelial, Connective, Muscle (most common), Nervous
define the concept of homeostasis
a state of internal equilibrium, that is maintained by physiologic processes
name the 5 descriptions of anatomical position
Facing forwards, Upright, Feet together, Palms of hands facing the front, Same regardless of motion
what are the three planes of the body, how are they sectioned and how do they move?
Coronal - split body into front and back, and left and right movements (add/abd).
Sagittal - split body into left and right, and movement is forward and back (flex/ext).
Transverse - split body into top and bottom, and rotating movement.
