What do interproximal images show?
-crowns of both maxillary and mandibular teeth on a single image
-open proximal surfaces
-crestal bone
What do occlusal images show?
large areas of the maxillae or mandible on a single image
List examples of extraoral radiograph examinations
-panoramic image *(most common)
-lateral jaw imaging
-cephalometric radiographs
-posteroanterior projection
-Waters projection
