A

They are made up of pre determined set of questions that are asked in a fixed order. They are like questionnaires but done either over the phone or face to face.

What is an unstructured interview

A

They work like a conversation, there are no set questions. There is however a general aim that a certain topic will be discussed. The interviewee is encouraged to expand and elaborate on the answer by the interviewer.
