A patient came into the pharmacy for his prescription dispensing but after being clinically screened by the pharmacist it was apparent that the dose of one of his medicines was too high. He was getting quite angry and he was in a rush and so I explained to him that I will ring up the GP surgery and speak to his doctor. The doctor then said that they would write another prescription. We were lucky that we were really close to the GP surgery, I ran over the road and picked up the prescription for him so that they wouldn’t be any delay.
