A

It’s an action taken to improve a situation, especially a medical disorder.

When should therapist disclosure be used?

A

Only if it’s clearly therapeutic, it should be kept at a minimum though. Eg. If my client is talking about a phobia then I can mention my trypophobia to build rapport.

A

High value, low enjoyment: taking stats class for your degree
Low value, high enjoyment: guilty pleasures, watching KUWTK
High value, high enjoyment: hard to find something like this, playing music
Low value, low enjoyment: watching a bad tv show that you don’t like all day
