What is cognitive screening?
What’s happenin? Can happen anywhere.

Health psychology
Promoting health, not fixing a problem
Health protective behavior
Doesn’t need to actually work, going to gym + bad eating, anything people do to promote health
Primary and secondary appraisal
Primary: Assessing harm, how much will this impact me? Will I still get into law school?
Secondary: Do I have the means to deal with this? Do I have tutors to help me study?
Approach vs avoidance in health promotion
Approach: programs/campaigns on how to live a healthier life
Avoidance: horrible things that could happen if you don’t change behavior (eg. smoke packs)
