Prohibits all U.S. companies from bribing foreign government or political officials.
What is the difference between a bribe and grease payment?
Bribe- anything of value not just money, illegal.

Legal to pay under foreign law
Do american companies have to comply with american anti discrimination laws when operating overseas? When are they required to?
- Employers are not required to comply with employment discrimination laws if compliance would violate the law of the foreign country in which the workplace is located.
In case of a violation who is liable
both the employee and the employer are liable.
Violations can result in
fines of up to 2 million dollars for companies and a fine and imprisonment for individuals.
Fines imposed upon individuals
may not be paid directly or indirectly by the employer.
The Civil Rights Act bans
discrimination on the basis of sex.
