tumour
a mass of abnormally growing cells that forms when the cells do not respond to the normal mechanisms that control growth and when control of the cell cycle is lost
vesicle
Small membrane-bound sac that functions in moving products into, out of, and within a cell.
bula
a large blister that is usually more than 0.5 cm in diameter
pustule
raised spot on the skin containing pus

Telangiectasia
Caused by vascular dilation; permanently enlarged and dilated blood vessels that are visible on the skin surface.
scar
A mark on the skin that is left after a cut or other wound has healed.
Excoriation
Skin sore or abrasion produced by scratching or scraping
ulcer
open sore or lesion in the skin or mucous membrane
Stage 3 pressure injury
full thickness loss, where subcutaneous fat, muscle or tendons are visible, but where no bone is visible.
Stage 2 pressure injury
- partial thickness skin loss with exposed dermis.
* the wound bed is pink or red and moist, may appear as an intact or ruptured blister.
Unstagable pressure injury
Where full thickness skin and tissue loss has occurred and where the extent of the tissue loss cannot be confirmed.
