What can strong senses of identity create?
A
A strong sense of identity can create a communist in an area consisting of a ‘normal’ group of people. Anyone who varies from the ‘normal’ may feel out of place.

What is an insider?
A
Someone from the dominant group group who have the cultural, economic and social power in an area.

What is an outsider?
A
Someone who would be the exclusive group in that place based on those same factors.

What is positionality?
A
Factors such as gender, race, ethnicity, age, religion, politics and socio-economic which influence how we perceive different places.
