Describes terms such as “infinite” or “mysterious”, metaphysical ideas not concerned with everyday langauge and difficult to know what they exactly mean

In the form of a proposition, an “indicative” sentence

What do religious propositions appear to do?
A
They appear to be factually significant and provide information about the world.

How do religious and non-religious propositions differ?
A
- Religious propositions are often paradoxical (the trinity)
- God is a concept beyond our understanding which we cannot adequately talk about
- Anthropomorphises God
- Interpretation, is prayer a direct call for help or has it another layer of meaning?
