Q

Nitrous Oxide

A
Mac >100, low potency
minimal affect on heart and respiration
supplement or minor surgery, insoluble
Contra. In: pneumothorax, intestine obstruction, air embolus, air in cranium
no worry for malignant hyp like others

A

most potent, highly soluble & metabolized
hepatotoxicity, decrease CO
used in Peds (smells good)

Q

Vecuronium & Rocuronium

A

Non depolarizing muscle relaxant
bind AChR to prevent ACh binding
