Q

What is decision-making?

A

The performer select an appropriate response from memory, perhaps one they have used in this situation before.

The short-term memory is the working memory. information from the display that has been attended to is held in the short term memory for a short time.

The long-term memory holds information that has been released and stored

For example: the cricketer may have attended to the site of a ball in the air, he recalls the memory of a previous catch from long-term memory, and compares it to what he is currently seeing short-term memory so that the decision to catch can take place
