Exudate vs. transudate
A
Exudate: high protein content. Increased interendothelial space, increased hydrostatic press
Transudate: low protein content, mostly oedema. Increased hydrostatic press but not increased interendothelial space

Margination > rolling > adhesion > diapedesis

Margination: low blood flow + hemodynamic change: white blood cells assume peripheral position.
Rolling: Transient adherence (selectins)
Adhesion: Stable adhesion (ICAM)
Diapedesis: Migration through endothelium (PECAM). Piercing of basement membrane through collagenases
