Recent ocular surgery patients
Long-term illness patients that have multiple lines/catheters (e.g. on ITU/HDU)

What are the features of infective endophthalmitis?
A
Painful, red eye Eye pain that gets worse after surgery/injury to eye Reduced or loss of vision Hypopyon Swollen eyelids

What is the management for infective endopthalmitis?
A
Urgent referral to ophthalmologist
Vitreous tap
Intravitreal abx injection
