Explain FDIMU
A
Flight data interface management unit collects data from different aircraft systems to generate a picture. It also feeds this information into the aircraft maintenance condition system (ACMS).

A
Digital flight data recorder
Records 25 hours of mandatory recording in flight. Located at the tail cone of the aircraft.
Must be turned on manually when doing preflight to record on ground conversations before taxi, turns on automatically when engines are started.
