Q

What are transformer Rectifiers ? and explain how many are on the aircraft

A

transformer rectifiers convert the aircrafts AC power to DC power.
there are six rectifiers on board the aircraft.
TR1/2 - supply aircraft essential electrical system
TR3/4 - supply military DC systems
TR5 - Aircraft systems
TR6 - controls APU start and APU BAT charging
