What is cuneiform?
Cuneiform script, one of the earliest systems of writing, was invented by the Sumerians. It is distinguished by its wedge-shaped marks on clay tablets, made by means of a blunt reed for a stylus.
What are Hieroglyphs?
a stylized picture of an object representing a word, syllable, or sound, as found in ancient Egyptian and other writing systems.
What is papyrus?
material prepared in ancient Egypt from the pithy stem of a water plant, used in sheets throughout the ancient Mediterranean world for writing or painting on and also for making rope, sandals, and boats.
What is dictation?
the action of saying words aloud to be typed, written down, or recorded on tape.
