Carribean migrants have been vital. In the process, they transformed and inserted their culture into aspects of British life.

What was the Notting Hill Carnival?
Took place where Windies were attacked by crowds. Began as celebration for pleasure of being alive but became a festival where everyone was welcome.

They developed a ‘black culture’ that many have taken up in different races.
