What does “intelligence” refer to in the ICS system?
Threat related information developed by law enforcement, medical surveillance, and other investigative organizations.
What is unified command?
When there is no single commander. This usually occurs when incidents occur over jurisdictional boundaries, or when one agency doesn’t have all the resources to manage the incident so multiple agencies are involved.
What are the five major functional areas of ICS?
Command Operations Planning Logistics Finance/Administration
What does the command staff consist of?
Public information officer
Safety officer
Liaison officer
