What is the E.O.C. ( emergency operations center)
A multiagency coordination entity that provides support and coordination to the on scene responders. — not on scene operations.
What is I.C.S. (incident command system)
A proven management based on successful business practices- the result of decades of lessons in the organization and management of emergency incidents.
What are the four purposes of I.C.S.

What is an I.C.P. ( incident command post)

What is the staging area?
A temporary location at an incident where personnel and equipment are kept.
What is a base?
A location from which primary logistics and admin functions are coordinated and administered— managed by the logistics section.
What is the camp?
Location where resources may be kept to support incident operations if base is not accessible to all resources.
