Switch ISO on the boot air isolate valve switch
What is the dwell time for the boots in the fast and slow mode?
24 seconds in fast mode, and 204 seconds in slow mode
How long does each blade heat for in the above minus 10 position?
10 seconds
How long does each blade need to cool?
60 seconds
When do the engine intake adapter heaters turn on?
When:
- Engine intake bypass doors are open and
- Oil pressure in related engine and
- Temperature is less than 15 degrees C and
- AC power is available
What is the minimum oil temperature for adequate inlet splitter deicing?
45 degrees C
When do the PITOT HEAT caution lights illuminate?
- Pitot static switch is off or
- Pitot head heater power source is not available or
- Pitot head heater fails
What is the difference between WARM UP and NORM?
WARM UP - Both windshield heated with limited AC power
NORM - Each windshield is heated with full AC power
What will the system do if the windshield overheats?
Overheat condition shuts off the power and activates the appropriate Caution light
How do you reset windshield heat?
Wait for the Caution light to go out and set the selector to WARM UP
