Levothyroxine (T4) 25-75mcg PO
How often should thyroid function tests be conducted for patients with hypothyroidism taking Levothyroxine?
Every 4-6 weeks
What complication can occur from hypothyroidism?
Myxedema
Increased susceptibility to infection
Megacolon
Organic psychoses
Angina pectoris
Adrenal crisis
