- Assess HR and BP. Hold if heart rate less than 60
- Monitor glucose in diabetics,
- Assess s/s heart failure.
- Do not stop taking abruptly
- Teach-Contact provider for signs of
worsening heart failure, respiratory symptoms, low HR, or erectile dysfunction, or other intolerable side effects.

- Assess BP, for anaphylaxis, monitor potassium, UA for protein and CBC for neutropenia
- Establish pregnancy status
- Teach: s/s angioedema or facial swelling and to seek emergency treatment, report persistent cough, avoid salt substitutes due to high potassium

- Monitor Potassium,
- UA for proteinuria,
- Renal Fct – BUN, Cr, GFR
- Teach: s/s angioedema or facial swelling and to seek emergency treatment, avoid salt substitutes due to high potassium

- Assess BP or for arrythmia, hold for bradycardia
- Monitor CHF patients for worsening
- Monitor EKG
- Monitor liver function tests
- Teach: contact provider if HR under 50, avoid grapefruit juice, photosensitivity, good poral hygiene, slow position changes
