Principles to consider when performing hygiene care
- provide privacy

- maintain safety
- maintain warmth

How often should oral care be performed?
twice daily
Principles of bed making (4)
- linen should be dry, clean and wrinkle free
- principles of asepsis are followed
- do not fan or shake linen
- do not place soiled linen on the floor
