A
A hydrocele is a collection of peritoneal fluid within the tunica vaginalis that surrounds the testes

A
- Painless scrotal swelling
- Uni / Bilateral
- Scrotal discomfort

Hydrocele clinical examination findings
A
- soft , fluctuant swelling (‘can get over’)
- Transilluminate
- Palpable testicle within the hydrocele

idiopathic

Testicular cancer
Testicular torsion
Epididymo-orchitis
Trauma

A
Exclude secondary causes
- Conservatively
- Aspiration / sclerotherapy
- Surgery
