Skydraul.
Whats the PSI of the hydraulic system?
3,000 PSI.
What drives hydraulic pumps A and B?
Electric AC power.
What happens to the hydraulic pumps in an engine failure?
They will auto seek a good power source.
System A will switch from AC BUS 1 to AC BUS 2.
System B will switch from AC BUS 2 to AC BUS 1.
Hydraulic System A consumers?
A-alternate brakes
O-outboard ground spoilers
L-landing gear (normal)
Hydraulic System B consumers?
B-brakes (main) E-emergency landing gear extension E-e-brake R-roll spoilers F-flaps I-inboard ground spoilers N-NWS
Double engine failure, how do we get gear down?
HYD PWR turn STBY pump from AUTO to CONTINUOS and use ALT GEAR EXTENSION.
What does moving the gear handle actually do?
Sends your request for up or down to a PSEU (proxy sensor electronic unit).
What does the PSEU need to give you a gear down indication?
It senses two proxy sensors.
