How does the airplane know how hard to brake?
A
Each toe brake has its own master cylinder and reservoir which goes to the BMU.

Whats the BMU?
A
Brake Metering Unit-sends pressure to anti skid.

What does pulling the e-brake bypass?
A
The BMU (brake metering unit) and ASCU (anti skid control unit) are bypassed.

Press BRK COV on HYD PWR panel to get ALT Anti Skid.
