What did Henry need to do to secure the succession?
- Secure the kingdom at home and find alliances abroad
- protect a male heir, Arthur, little over a year after succession in 1486. Henry born in 1491
- Children needed to marry and have kids quickly and to promote dynasty and find brides from royal European families.

He was sent to the Tower of London and he was executed for conspiring with Perkin Warbeck to escape from the tower

Until spring of 1487 when he fled court and supported Pretender Lambert Simple. Lincoln killed at battle of Stoke in June 1487
