A

Regional loyal;ties were strong and there were growing resentment at war was regarded as outside interferance. The extension of royal government was accompanied by strengthening of royal justice. Officials appointed by London based governments were unwelcome in regions where local lords had been passed over in favour or royal nominees

A

When he came to power he was largely unknown and untried to noblemen. Continuing political instability and economic dislocation caused by civil war effected noblemen and commoner alike

A

Refuse to contribute defence of the northern ovary of the kingdom (they were independent minded with their own language). The Scottish border meant nothing to the Cornish and they were unwilling to pay tax demanded by distant government based in the south-east of England
