  • prior to implantation scan the neck for pre-existing microchip and scan the microchip to be implanted to ensure functioning correctly
  • implant microchip in or adjacent to nuchal ligament at the top of the left mid crest
  • after implatantion re-scan to ensure successful implantation
  • when completeing passport, should record if microchip has migrated

A

with an arrow. acquired marks include anything permanent (scars, tattoo marks, branding marks, permanent bandage marks, girth marks etc.). marks of small white hairs with no distinction are indicated by a few short lines
