to confirm horners:
1 cocaine drop test
-horners: failure to dilate pupil
2 paredrine test
-to localise cause of miosis
-3rd order neuron intact, amphetamine will cause pupil dilation
-3rd order neuron lesion, amphetamine will fail to dilate pupil
3 dilation lag test

for cause:

  • bloods
  • MRI/CT head
  • CXR/CT chest
