Produces adrenaline, ready for a body response

Producse oestrogen, involved in menstrual cycle

Producses insulin, used to regulate the blood glucose lvl
What are the testes
Produce testosterone, controls puberty and sperm production
Difference between nerves and hormones
Nerves are much shorter and faster and aimed in a specific area, hormones are the opposite
What hormones are involved in controlling blood glucose lvl
Insulin and glucagon
What is added if blood glucose lvl is too high
Insulin, turns gkucose into glycogen
What is added if blood glucose lvl is too low
Glucagon is added, turns glycogen into glucose
Where is excess glucose stored
Stored as glycogen in the liver and muscles
What part of the body produces hormones
Pancreas
What is tyoe 1 diabetes
Pancreas produced little to no insulin
