What is the PEP regime for low risk infants?
Nevirapine for 6weeks
Which infants are high risk of HIV?
If mum
- got <4wks ART pre delivery
- has VL>1000 in 4wks pre delivery
- identified as HIV +ve for first time during breastfeeding
What is the PEP regime for high risk infants?
AZT + NVP for 6wks
If breastfeeding then should have a further 6wks (can just be NVP)
What are the HIV key populations?
Sex workers and their clients IVDU MSM Transgender Partners of the above
