Economic policy - responsible for gearing Germany’s economy for war from 1936
Remilitarising the Rhineland - Hitler chose to remilitarise the Rhineland despite the wishes of his generals
Preparation for war - Hitler guided his military generals to prepare for a European war and Blomberg Fritsch affair in 1938 indicates that generals were reluctant to make the necessary preparations for war
