What does anti-semetism mean?
any hostility toward, or discrimination against, Jews as a religious, ethnic, or racial group.
What was the first sign of hate towards jews in history?

When christianity was the main religion during the rise of the roman empire, judaism was the rival religion. Some said that the jews killed jesus. Later, Jews were blamed for every wrongdoing in europe, as nearly everyone in europe was christian.
What else happened to jews later in history?
( ghettos )
They had to stay in ghettos, and wear clothing showing that they were jewish. Later, some left their country to try and find somewhere else to live. They were also sent to concentration camps.
What did William the Conqueror do in 1066?
He encouraged Jews to come to england, but in the 1100s, anti semetism towards grew towards jews.
