German troups marched into austria unchallenged. Hitler demanded to re-occupy the Sudetenland going against the treaty. Britain and france let him do this as long as he doesn’t invade Czechoslovakia. This was called the Munich agreement

Hitler ignored the munich agreement and invaded Czechoslovakia. Hitler demanded that Poland return the Polish Corridor and the port of Danzig to Germany.
He claimed that this land should not have been taken away from Germany by the Treaty of Versailles. On September 1st, Hitler’s troups invaded Poland.
