seen as the beginning for the rights for people with disability
there were some problems because the society was not ready to embrace the people with disabilities
special recreation services were formed
Disability Right movement (1970s )
People with disabilities began to see themselves as inferior and so they began to respond to the society and take control of their lives through social movements
In CANADA prior to 1980s there was no acknowledgements in the charter for people with disabilities after the
the movements in 1970 s and so in 28 January 1981 he charter was changed
Individuality - integration - Imagination
they are capable and can get a job- they can integrate in society and they are beyond independence
