Avascular meaning they receive nerve supply from another source
Does epitheleal tissue have a high mitotic rate?
Yes, they are constantly regenerating since itis the part of the body that is exposed to injury
What are the types of supporting connective tissue
Cartilage and bone
What are the types of cartilage (CT)?
hyaline, elastic, fibro
What are some features of hyaline cartilage?
The most abundant, consists of chondrocytes (in lacunae), possible chondroblasts, and a matrix
