Side Effects: Antiandrogen (causing impotence and gynecomastia), inhibition of P450 enzymes

Mechanism: H2 receptor antagonist; blocks gastric acid secretion (more so with nocturnal acid secretion than meal secretion)

Side Effects: Liver toxicity
Famotidine (Pepcid)

Nizatidine (Axid)
