DVT/PE S and S

A
  • DVT: pain/swelling in calf (not reliable for diagnosis)
  • PE: chest pain, dysnopea, tachynopea, fever, hypoxaemia
  • *use clinical reasoning to determine whether mobilisation will aid or progress DVT
