Chronic pain, Swelling, Stiffness, Weakness.
Passive movement where internal rotation is less than 25 degrees.

Common surgery where a damaged hip joint is replaced with an artificial one.
Generally for people aged 60-80 but only when physiotherapy and steroid injections have stopped working.
Used in cases of OA, RA and fractures.
Pain, swelling, stiffness, Depressed from pain & lack of mobility, unable to work or be sociable, must be well enough to cope with recovery period afterwards.
