Common in men
Direct is medial to epigastric vessels
Indirect is lateral to epigastric vessels
Low risk of strangulation except in children
Usually reducible
Above and medial to pubic tubercle

Trauma
Recurrent leukaemia
Epididymal cyst
Syphilis/TB
