What is going on when the generators kick on in the 412?
The engines start and at their rated idol RPM the motor will switch over to the generators. They provide DC power for the on-board electronics.
What RPM do you kick the idle forward during start up for the B412S and CPT ?
Roughly 30 percent
What is the standby horizon?
Attitude indicator or yaw
- The motion of the helicopter from a horizon-center line (180 degrees x & y )
- Activated by switch
- Located above the triple tachometer in the 412 and EFIS
When flying the 412 why is it better to not apply a full grip on the cyclic?
Provides better adjustment control, less pulling, finer movements
At what decent angle should the helicopter be gradually landed?
3 degree glideslope
Why use the rudder (feet pedals) to help the 412 to land?
When giving and taking away torque from the main propeller the helicopter will tend to spin, the feet pedals keep the helicopter from spinning or rotating.
What does the RMI locate.
Define RMI?
It helps locate the VOR and DME?
Refers to all frequencies used at airports and is called the ADF.

Either,
System needs to be reset from the training program.
Total freeze ON in any simulator will not allow the program to work.

120VAC/25 Volts DC and 10 PSI for engine oil ?
