A

-Heat treated to kill of harmful bacteria and pathogens.

Why avoid those certain foods?

A

Unpasteurised products may contain listeria. It causes an infection called listeriosis or toxoplasmosis. Can lead to miscarriage, still birth or make newborn unwell.
