  2. Brown
  3. White

Blue worst and white the safest. Regularly used in construction from the 1950-1990s due to its versatile and insulating properties.

Asbestos is safe when undisturbed, therefore where detected, a management plan should be implemented.

  • When ID’d have two options;

A

On top of the buddy system and arranging the inspection at midday, I believe we could have arranged to go with the property manager or not undertake the inspection at all.

A

My colleague and I undertook an area inspection, assessing the risks as we went. We saw no risks, so proceeded with an external inspection of the property, finishing with the internal inspection.

Heavy traffic main road, quite side street access, scrap metal on site, significant warning about trespassers and security.
